September 12–14 2025 • Mlýn Třeštice (OSM, Mapy.cz, Google Maps)
Organized entirely by volunteers from the Czech Python community,
organizers of PyCon CZ,
Pyvo meetups
and Python Pizza Brno,
we bring the Python Community together for the beta version of a Python barcamp,
at a camp better place than a camp.
This is a smaller event than PyCon CZ,
we anticipate up to 80 participants.
Save the date. More info will follow in upcoming months. Subscribe to our low-traffic newsletter to stay in touch:
There is no schedule, the barcamp/unconference style of the event makes everybody a participant. Discussions, sprints, ad-hoc talks, workshops, child care, grill parties, pilates, board games, jamming… Anything is possible, as long as you do it. We welcome content in English as well as in Czech or Slovak. We provide the space, infrastructure, accommodation, and refreshments. But don’t worry if you are more comfortable being a passive participant, you are welcome as well.

By the way, have we mentioned this is a beta version? Adjust your expectations. We will do everything in our power to make this a wonderful experience for everybody. Depending on how things go, this might become a regular thing.
Participants with tickets will be eligible to sleep in their tents, cars, or camp indoors in dedicated rooms. The venue is equipped with bathrooms with hot water and toilets, freely available to all participants.
If that’s not your thing, there are numerous apartments with beds, private bathrooms, or kitchenettes available for rent. You can only book accommodation when buying a ticket.
Check-in opens on Friday, September 12th at 14:00.
Would you like to carshare or travel by public transport in a group?
